2023 Central Vermont Job Fair

The Central Vermont Job Fair returns for its 14th year to the Barre Auditorium on April 5, 2023 from 12-7 PM.  The Central Vermont Job Fair is hosted by the Vermont Department of Labor, Hireability, and Central Vermont Economic Development Corporation.

Based on feedback from last year’s post-pandemic return to the fair, we have changed our hours to accommodate job seekers who are already employed and looking for a career change.  Of course the Job Fair is also organized for everyone looking to enter or re-enter the workforce.

We are also hosting a variety of food vendors so job seekers, employers, and other attendees can grab a bite from Morse Block Deli and other area restaurants while networking at the Fair.

Employers can register for a table at www.centralvtjobfair.com, click on the “registration” tab.  Job seekers can review our 2023 employer listing for an updating list of employers who are scheduled to attend, with many job openings listed on the website.

 Our website also provides great resources for job seekers to prepare for meeting with employers and preparing for potential on-site interviews.  A computer resource center will also be provided and staffed to support job seekers with on-line applications, updating resumes, etc.

 Seasoned employers to the Fair include Agrimark/Cabot, Central Vermont Medical Center, Gifford Medical, and E.F. Wall.

 Many thanks to job fair sponsors National Life Group, Community National Bank, and Northfield Savings Bank, who will also have tables at the fair advertising open positions.

 Job seekers can expect on site interviews and should come with their resumes ready.
