Nicky Zambon, of CVEDC had the pleasure of chatting with Brandon Poulin, of Poulin Productions based out of Barre, Vermont last week. He and his wife Abbey have found their slice of heaven here, in the place they love and have called home forever. Brandon set out on his journey in the videography world in the Summer of 2018. As a Castleton Alumni, Brandon put his business degree to work to grow a thriving business. But his love for this art-form, and his passion to help couples capture their special moments and turn them into lasting video productions is sets his work apart from the others.
Brandon’s business started in 2018 as a mix of photography and videography, but he found video production to be his true passion. As a self-taught videographer there is a lot to be said about the quality of work captured by Brandon. In just a short period of time, hard work, dedication, and a high-quality product has helped carve a future of success for Poulin Productions. What started as a very small business, booking only three weddings per year, has now grown to nearly 50 weddings per year. That is NO small feat in a short period of time, for a one man shop, and through a crazy pandemic like none our region or economy has faced in many years.
Brandon has offered some videography services for commercial marketing uses for business within our region including the Community College of Vermont. But, the day his sister found out her wedding photographer had lost the photos of her wedding ceremony is what really drove Brandon’s niche efforts towards capturing weddings. He noted his drive comes from “ensuring brides and their families never have to fear losing those images of their special days again”. Brandon’s work has brought him all across New England, but most of his weddings take place right here, in Vermont and New Hampshire.
