The Master of Sharp: Super Thin Saws

CVEDC recently joined John Young of the Vermont Training Program at Waterbury-based Super Thin Saws, to see how their last year has been. General Manager Barry Mirakian talked us through how support from both VTP and Vermont Manufacturing Extension Center helped Super Thin Saws transform their processes, and their space.

Super Thin Saws manufacturers some of the thinnest sawblades available in the marketplace. Using these thin (but not too thin) sawblades reduces wood waste. Happy repeat customers span across the United States and Canada. The efficiency and workforce support Super Thin Saws received through its State and nonprofit partners has helped support their business growth.
